Myriam Coker

Physical Therapist
PT, DPT

Myriam grew up in Tupelo, MS and attended the University of Mississippi where she earned her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. The Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College provided her with many opportunities to engage with the community as both a citizen and scholar. It was from these experiences that she knew she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Myriam then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During one of her clinical experiences, she was introduced to pelvic health and her curiosity was sparked. After her first pelvic floor course, she knew she had found her passion. She treats a variety of issues in men and women and believes no one should suffer in silence with pelvic health issues. She wants to continue to promote awareness in the community about pelvic health PT.

When she is not working, Myriam enjoys spending time outside at Shelby Farms with her husband and golden retriever, reading books, and taking care of her house plants.
