Kianna was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She attended both undergraduate and PT school at the University of Evansville in Indiana, earning her B.S. in Exercise Science and Kinesiology as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy there.
Kianna has prior experience as a STOTT Pilates instructor and is certified through FMS for the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). She enjoys treating a wide range of pelvic health conditions and has experience treating urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy/postpartum as well as low back and hip pain with regards to pelvic involvement.
Pelvic health patients represent an extremely underserved population, one that can be surrounded by societal stigma, confusion, and lack of understanding. Kianna chooses to practice pelvic health PT so that she can be in the best possible place to educate patients and healthcare colleagues alike on what pelvic health really is and how big of a difference it can make in someone's life. Working with patients directly one-on-one and helping them achieve their goals has been incredibly rewarding and she is excited to further her knowledge and skills with MOJO!
When not in the clinic, Kianna enjoys running, baking bread, reading, and spending quality time with her fiance, Brent, and her pup Misty.
